GIFT SHOP

2025 Schedule

Purpose:  Provide books and oral history publications from local authors and/or historians, gifts and toys and artwork from local artists.

 

Responsibilities: 

  1. Contact publishers and local authors for books to sell.
  2. Contact local artists to highlight their work for 1-3 month rotations.
  3. Contact manufacturers for interesting gifts and toys suitable for a history museum.
  4. Work with the board on purchasing approvals.

 

Volunteers:  Help with managing the gift shop, inventory stock and keep stock supplied.  Greeter volunteers are also responsible for gift shop management while on duty.
