The Elgin Museum and Historical Society is a non-profit corporation and shall be operated exclusively for educational and charitable purposes within the meaning of Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986, or the corresponding section of any future Federal tax code.  Donations are tax deductible.

VISION STATEMENT

     The Elgin Museum and Historical Society shall collect, preserve, interpret, and present the artifacts and stories of the area using a physical location for the collection and exhibits, technology to share access to historical documents and photos, and consistent and timely communication about the ongoing displays, progress and stability of the museum.
