GREETERS

2025 Schedule

Purpose:  To welcome all visitors to the museum.

 

Projects: 

  1. Be an ambassador for the museum and the City of Elgin.
  2. Assist visitors with questions about the museum.
  3. Let visitors know about other events happening in the area.
  4. Collect admission fees.
  5. Manage the gift shop when on duty.

 

Volunteers:  Greeters are our most valued volunteers.  We ask that a volunteer commit 3 hours in one stretch to play host at the museum during visiting hours.
